On May 6, 2016, the Santa Teresa Charitable Foundation (STCF), presented three $1,000 scholarships to the outstanding Santa Teresa High School interns of the 2015-2016 school year. This money will be used to cover tuition expenses as they will begin their college studies in the fall of 2016.

Last August, the Santa Teresa Charitable Foundation partnered with Santa Teresa High School to establish a Senior Internship Program. The purpose of this program is to provide senior students wishing to attend college, or looking for a job after high school, with work experience in the Santa Teresa industrial base. This exposes them to real-world job situations, in addition to teaching them work habits and soft skills that are not necessarily taught in the classroom. We believe this internship program can bring an immeasurable value to our young adults, to our community, and to our industrial base.

This particular program is supported by a variety of donors, including Texas Tech University, JH Rose logistics, Paseo del Norte Ltd. Partnership, and Cemex among others.
